Keizai Koho Center held the 51st Business Speaker Series in Houston, featuring Mitubish Heavy Industries America (MHI-A) and how the company is evolving and collaborating in the development of innovative clean energy solutions that will impact the future.


MHI-A President and CEO Mr. Takajiro Ishikawa spoke about the MHI Group’s global strategy and the company’s energy transition focus. In the course of sharing MHI-A’s vast range of technologies and end-to-end solutions for the hydrogen value chain, Mr. Ishikawa introduced the world’s largest renewable energy storage project – the Advanced Clean Energy Storage Project. The partnership among MHI-A, Magnum Development and the Governor of Utah will see Green H2 stored in underground salt caverns in Utah.


In conversation with Mr. Bob Harvey, President and CEO of the Greater Houston Partnership, Mr. Ishikawa proved unique insight into the reasons of developing the techology for the transition away from fossil fuels.
