Four journalists from Eastday, Jiefang-Daily, Shanghai-Daily and The Paper participated in the 2017 KKC Program for Chinese Journalists. Company visits to five Japanese companies including Kao, Fujifilm, Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal, Panasonic and Yakult were arranged. The companies introduced their initiatives in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and their technologies for producing eco-friendly products and renewable energy sources for manufacturing to reduce carbon emissions.   These CSR initiatives were reported in the Chinese newspapers and websites and the media praised the efforts of Japanese companies to fulfill their responsibilities to society.
