Keizai Koho Center (KKC) hosted a reception for correspondents of Chinese media and representatives of Japanese corporations.

This reception has been held annually since 2005. It serves as an opportunity for representatives of KKC member companies and organizations to interact and exchange information with journalists from Chinese media outlets based in Japan.

From the Chinese side, 39 participants attended, including bureau chiefs, correspondents, and reporters from 21 organizations such as China Media Group (CMG), China Central Television (CCTV), Xinhua News Agency, China News Service, and Economic Daily. From the Japanese side, 25 participants took part, including overseas public relations officers and China business managers from 18 member companies and organizations.

Amid the current tensions in Japan-China relations, both countries must remain calm and work steadily to build the constructive and stable relationship essential for business.

Participants engaged in active and cordial discussions on public relations strategies, the current state of the Chinese market, and the challenges it faces. Reflecting on the long-standing and multifaceted exchanges between these two important neighboring nations, participants reaffirmed the significance of continuing broad and diverse exchanges across all sectors and levels of society, even during periods when bilateral relations face difficulties.

Many participants expressed that this event has become an invaluable opportunity for Japan and China to deepen mutual understanding, and they conveyed their hope to continue participating in such gatherings in the future.
