Keizai Koho Center invited Dr. Hiroshi Ishii, Associate Director of MIT Media Lab to speak about his vision of a post-digital future to KKC member companies.

He first introduced his vision “Tangible Bits and Radical Atoms” which seeks to realize seamless interfaces between humans, digital information, and the physical environment by giving dynamic physical form to digital information and computation. He also explained that “MATTERverse” will become an alternative future of the pixel-oriented metaverse.

Dr. Ishii shared his motto “Be Artistic and Analystic, Be Poetic and Pragmatic”, stating that he believes that a good vision is one that moves and inspires people. A total of 60 people attended the seminar.
