Keizai Koho Center participated in the 100th Anniversary Conference of the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) which was held online.
In cooperation with NCSS, KKC hosted Ambassador Kanji Yamanouchi, Consul General of Japan in New York, who shared his views on “Democracy in U.S.-Japan Relations” with American social studies teachers.
Ambassador Yamanouchi explained how U.S.-Japan relations has evolved from the first historical encounters between the U.S. and Japan to the solid U.S.-Japan Alliance of today, which is the cornerstone of Japanese diplomacy and security. He also answered many questions from the audience.
KKC also held two mini-sessions about KKC’s Japan Study Tour for North American Social Studies Teachers.
KKC’s virtual booth at the NCSS 100th Anniversary Conference website will be open until April 30, 2022.
