Keizai Koho Center held an online seminar inviting Professor Masahiko Hosokawa, School of Business Administration, Meisei University.

Professor Hosokawa mentioned that economic security and human rights have become new risks as the U.S. and China compete for technological hegemony and strengthen the export control of sensitive technologies. Corporate leaders must deal with these risks as important business issues. Regarding economic security, he pointed out that companies need to undertake cross-sectional reviews of fields including M&A, R&D, legal affairs, human resources and management planning, in addition to export control.
