H.E. Atsuyuki Oike, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Delegate, Permanent Delegation of Japan to UNESCO, was invited to KKC’s online meeting as a guest speaker. He gave a brief outline of the role of UNESCO and introduced the Global Education Coalition which was founded to protect the right to education during unprecedented disruption and in the future. He believes that supporting and joining this coalition could provide good opportunities for the international public relations of Japanese corporations and organizations.
