Mr. Walter Sim, Tokyo Correspondent of The Straits Times, Singapore Press Holdings, was invited to share his views on the impact of Covid-19 on the Singapore General Election and his observations of how Japan has been managing the virus. He mentioned that the Covid-19 crisis, for Japan, has catalyzed many changes that years of government policy and encouragement have not managed to do and also noted that it is a difficult politically-wrought decision to balance health risks and economic necessities.
